Ingredients

    • 5 Pork Chops (Doesn’t matter bone in or out)
    • 12oz Baby Rays Honey BBQ Sauce
    • 1 Can Bush’s Baked Beans
    • 2 Tsp Minced Garlic
    • 2 Tbsp Oil
    • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
    • 1 Tbsp Honey
    • 1 Tsp Mustard
  •

Prepare Beforehand

To start prep we will marinate the pork. I toss it in a ziplock with the mustard, oil, soy sauce, honey and minced garlic.

If in a hurry let that sit in the fridge for 30 minutes. Typically we want that sitting overnight.

Recipe

First cook the pork on a cast iron skillet. Lather the pork with a heavy layer of barbeque sauce. Set the skillet to medium-high and melt 5 tbsp butter. Cook for about 3 minutes to crisp up the top. We are looking for a nice brown color. Lather a thin layer of barbeque sauce. Once that is done toss a lid on it and lower the heat to low-medium occasionally flipping every couple minutes. This should cook the inside until it’s done.

Cooked pork is 145 º

Take the pork out and put another thin layer of barbeque sauce on it. Put it on a cutting board and cube into bite size pieces.

TIP: ALWAYS use a wooden cutting board. The plastic cutting boards create shreds of plastic that go into your food!!

Next we heat the beans in a medium pot. Turn the heat to a low-medium and wait until hot while stirring occasionally.

Once the beans are hot toss in the pork bites and enjoy!
